CV - Walter Hoeks |
|
|
Ivan Meylemans. |

CV - Stefan Moeskops |
|
Stefan was born in 1972 in Antwerp.
In his daily live he is a chief engineer at Telenet. He studied electric engineering and computer science and specialised in internet servers and internet service applications.
When he was 7, he became a musician. First he played the trumpet. His tutor was the famous Theo Mertens and later on he graduated on the trombone, euphonium, the baritone and the Eb-tuba.
Stefan has been a member of BBW for 9 years now. He began on the baritone and then changed it for the tuba. He is also a member of the Flanders Tuba Quartet, Quatre Musicale,
Brass aux Saxes and regularly he performs as a guest musician with several Antwerp and Campinian wind bands.
He also performs as a soloist and at those occasions he tries to explore and extend the limits of the Eb-tuba. His favourite piece of music is George Lloyd's English Heritage. (This is not a coincidence as it has a very demanding and satisfactory bass-score)
Highlights in his mucial carreer were soloist performances with Steven Mead and Steve Sykes, the gala concert with BBW in Birmingham, the runner-up perfomance at the European Championships in Brussels and the countless winning performances of BBW at several Brassband contests. |
